About PHP
CCS uses PHP as a powerful, open-source, server-side scripting engine for deploying powerful web site applications.
What started as a web server parsing tool to implement a 'Personal Home Page' (PHP) is now a robust solution for developing server-side parsed web content. This is the open-source answer to Microsoft's Active Server Pages (ASP).
We have developed several web applications using PHP. This provides a mechanism to remove the web content and styles from the programming required to access a database and enforce security and user roles. This makes future modifications simpler, and allows multiple people to work on the web page implementation. In fact, the CCS web site uses PHP with CSS for a consistent look and feel.
